Mr. Vincelette has represented over 50 municipalities, school districts and
corporations in courts throughout New York State. He is the attorney of
record in reported court decisions involving the valuation of commercial,
industrial and utility properties including resort hotels, condominiums,
factories, mines, senior housing facilities, nursing homes, apartment buildings,
shopping malls, office buildings and utility properties, as well as exemption
issues involving not-for-profit corporations.  He represents many
municipalities in equalization rate and segment rate matters before the New
York State Board of Real Property Services.  He has also represented
municipalities in the tax foreclosure process.

He is the author of the chapter “Small Claims Assessment Review” in the latest edition of the
book “Review and Reduction of Real Property Assessments in New York” published by the
New York State Bar Association.  He is an instructor for the Institute of Assessing Officers,
and he has presented numerous seminars for the New York State Assessors Association, the
New York State Association of Towns and for the New York Conference of Mayors.  He is
the instructor for the annual Board of Assessment Review training sessions held in Saratoga,
Schenectady, Schoharie and Ulster counties.  Mr. Vincelette is also one of the instructors
for the training sessions for Small Claims Assessment Review hearing officers sponsored by
the New York Judicial Institute.

Mr. Vincelette is a member of the New York State Assessors' Association.  He is a member
of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, and the Albany and
Rensselaer County Bar Associations.  He is a graduate of Fordham University and Albany
Law School, and is the former sports editor of the Greenwich Time newspaper in
Connecticut.

Mr. Schopf maintains an ever-expanding niche practice in the area of animal law and
animal welfare litigation which focuses on advocating for clients and their companion
animals in a variety of legal contexts. He advises clients who operate animal related
businesses such as kennels, veterinary, animal service and not-for-profits as to legal issues
which are unique to their business. He is an attorney-member of the Animal Legal Defense
Fund and the author of “Animal Law Update”, which is published quarterly in the Albany
County Bar Association’s newsletter. He serves on the New York State Bar Association’s
Committee on Animals and the Law is the founding Co-Chair of the Albany County Bar
Association’s Committee on Animals and the Law, one of the first such local bar
association committees of this type in the state.

Jon received his Juris Doctor from Albany Law School and his Bachelor's Degree from
Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.     

He currently serves on the Board of the Rensselaer County Bar Association as Vice-
President. He is actively involved in the community as a local team coach for the New
York State Bar Association’s high school mock trial tournament, a board member for the
Troy Branch of the Capital District YMCA, the supervising attorney for the Albany Law
School’s Animal Law pro bono legal services clinic and is a recipient of the 2009 and 2010
New York State Bar Association’s Empire State Counsel award for over 50 hours of pro
bono service to members of the community who are unable to pay for legal services.
Mr. Schopf is admitted to practice in all courts in the State of New York, the
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Northern District
of New York, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the Supreme
Court of the United States. He is a member in good standing in many organizations,
including: the New York State Bar Association, the Rensselaer County Bar Association, the
Albany County Bar Association, the Capital District Trial Lawyers Association, the Capital
Alliance of Young Professionals, the Rensselaer County Chamber of Commerce and the
